This course is designed for the purpose of formation in safeguarding to the young women in initial formation (novices). It enhances the efforts by the global Church in safeguarding of minors and vulnerable adults in the Church and wider society.
3 hours per week of 14 plus Orientation Week = 15 weeks 42 hours
The-E-learning course will be supported by novice directors and onsite visits by experts. To facilitate learning, there will be a group discussion for each unit.
Learners will be expected to do a personal reflection in each unit and to record their key learning for each unit in their note books. At the end of each unit, the learner will do a short quiz.
Successful completion of this E-Learning course will award the learner a Certificate in Safeguarding from Tangaza University.
